Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, is actively promoting the high-tech business complex development (Jayang 1 reorganization promotion zone) from KT in Guui Station.
Gwangjin-gu said that it has recently completed the approval of the management and disposal plan for the maintenance project in Guui Station and reported the start of construction.
This project is the largest complex development in Gwangjin-gu, with a total of 78,000,147 square meters, including the former government office, apartment houses, business buildings, hotels and sales facilities.
As for apartment houses, 1,363 households are supplied in total, including 631 households for general sale, 432 households for private rental, and 300 happy houses.
Gwangjin-gu signed a business agreement with NCP, a subsidiary of KT, last month to save the frozen commercial district from Corona 19 and to coexist with the local economy.
The two organizations agreed to cooperate in providing jobs to local residents when attracting KT affiliates to the business facilities in the complex and hiring the necessary personnel for sales facilities, hotels, and construction sites.
Gwangjin-gu Commissioner Kim Seon-gap said, “We expect the area around Guui Station to serve as a leading center for regional development.”
