A Texas man made a joke while ordering from McDonald’s. He also publicly documented his action on Twitter.
Dallas (United States) – Rob DenBleyker wanted to know exactly what happens if you order a burger at McDonald’s but all the ingredients are removed? On Twitter, he later revealed what happened to him.
Back in mid-December, the Texan ordered a cheeseburger from the fast food chain, eliminating all ingredients from the ordering process.
So he had a “Nothing Burger” delivered.
But the December 18 order was not entirely satisfactory: “The order has arrived and there are no burgers or empty packages,” writes Rob on Twitter.
Even then, thousands of users followed his crazy order and eagerly awaited the delivery. “I’m out – 2 dollars and I didn’t even get a box. I really harvested / sowed myself,” says the American, disappointed. He didn’t want to let this unsatisfying experience burden him.
“Okay, let’s try again and order a cheap hamburger from McDonalds,” tweeted DenBleyker on December 20th.
With her latest order from McDonald’s, this time she ordered “nothing else,” she added in the post.
The Texan received this delivery
The Dallas Twitter user seemed thrilled: “Are they going to cancel it? Will they deliver an empty bag?” he wrote in another tweet.
And then he justified his action: “I’m doing it so you don’t have to.”
He also posted the screenshot of his order – you can see Rob selected a cheeseburger, but in the ingredients section he noticed that McDonald’s employees didn’t use mustard, ketchup, onions, pickles, cheese, meat, bread, or salt during the order. preparation should use. It is therefore a pure “order of nothing”.

As Rob waited for his “Nothing-Burger,” he dutifully tweeted, “That’s not even the dumbest thing I’ve spent $9 on.”
Then the Texan received a message from the “DoorDash” delivery service: “The restaurant is confused and wants to know what you want to order.” But Rob doesn’t answer.
Finally his order arrived. And the Twitter user cheered: “YOU DELIVERED AN EMPTY BOX!!!!” (Spelling taken from tweets, ed.)
Twitter user is proud
He didn’t just post as proof two imageswhich actually show an empty McDonald’s bag and an unused hamburger wrapper, but also a video of him opening the shipment for the first time.
“The haters will say it’s fake so I recorded the unboxing,” Rob wrote in a tweet. And further on it reads, “I tipped the dasher $6, so I actually paid $15 for lack of cheeseburgers. Capitalism is so wild.”
He also boasted that he “saved a cow” by placing his order. The Texan therefore seems more than satisfied with his action.
