Guus Meeuwis and Manon Meijers have finally set a wedding date. The couple will get married in July, says the Brabant singer according to RTL Boulevard in his program Glory Days. The wedding was supposed to take place earlier, but the corona pandemic threw a spanner in the works.
The singer proposed to his girlfriend in 2019. The two would say yes to each other in 2020, but due to the corona measures, they decided to postpone the party.
“As long as we cannot celebrate the party we had in mind, we will keep the plans with us for a while,” said Meeuwis in 2020 about postponing the wedding. At the time, it seemed that the wedding in the summer of 2021 would be possible, but they decided to postpone the party again.
The wedding will now take place in July. Meeuwis and Meijers met in 2007 when the stylist provided his clothes for his concert series. In 2016, when Meeuwis divorced his ex Valérie, they got into a relationship.
