For Astrik Hovhannisyan, the Saint-Benoît embodies much more than just a hotel-restaurant. It is here that Gilles Perny, former owner, gave her a chance and the push she needed to start decisive administrative procedures. With her husband Guevorg and her children Mané and Garik, she fled Armenia 11 years ago. After several years at the reception center for asylum seekers in Digoin and a lot of voluntary work in Gueugnon, Astrik managed to find work in Saint-Benoît.
