In recent years, Guty Carrera’s name has become increasingly recognized in the Mexican entertainment world. Televisa decided to award him in the “Breakthrough Actor” category, for his outstanding interpretation of the character of Fabian in the soap opera “Nadie como tú”, which also features the participation of renowned actors such as Irina Baeva and Eduardo Santamarina.

After receiving the honorable award, in recognition of his hard work and dedication, Guty Carrera noted that he feels that his efforts are being rewarded little by little. Since he arrived in Mexico with his suitcases full of dreams, he has been pursuing his dream of being an actor, participating in reality shows so that producers can set their eyes on him.

“I feel happy and grateful. I arrived in Mexico with my suitcases and my dreams, living in a room, studying acting while doing modeling, castings and knocking on many doors. Everything has been little by little, with short characters, until reaching ‘Nobody Like You,’” he commented excitedly.

Guty Carrera wants to continue his career as an actor in Mexico. However, he has not ruled out participating in Peruvian productions. That is why in November he will be part of a Peruvian film with Teddy Guzmán and Carlos Vértiz.

Although his participation will be brief due to his commitments with Televisa, Carrera has expressed his joy at having the opportunity to work again with Carlos, with whom he had already shared the stage in a play.

“It is a short dramatic role because I cannot leave Televisa for many days, but I am very grateful to share with Carlos again, who already did theater together,” he explained.
