“Gustaph’s Performance in Eurovision Village Liverpool and Gold Record Win in Belgium”

Gustaph, our Belgian entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, performed today in Eurovision Village inLiverpool. He released two songs, including Because of You, with which he will try to conquer a place in the final on Thursday. Whether it turns gold remains to be seen. For now he already received a gold record.

A gold record in Belgium means that an artist of a song has sold 10,000 copies and that it has been streamed three million times. Naturally, Gustaph was blown away. ‘This is awesome. I can only thank Belgium! It’s really fantastic to feel the song and its message is embraced. I really love this. Amai, I am emotional. Things like this always make me cry.’

A capella

Dive at the performance technical problems on. The music wouldn’t start playing so Gustaph decided to entertain the crowd. When it lasted, he started the song a capella along with his backing singers. That gives confidence for Thursday, knowing that Gustaph can handle any situation on stage.
