Gus Miftah some time ago explained about the invitation to perform the pilgrimage this year. Gus Miftah also plans to bring in several artists with the most followers.
Several names have been proposed by Gus Miftah to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Names that have been proposed include Deddy Corbuzier, Raffi Ahmad, and Rizky Billar.
However, Gus Miftah clarified Deddy Corbuzier not to go on pilgrimage this year.
“So, let’s clarify, Mas Deddy from the start he was not pleased because at that time he was still busy with weddings and others. And psychologically he was not ready,” explained Gus Miftah when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta.
“Then, Rizky and Raffi. Raffi said from the start, when the visa came down Raffi said, ‘Bro, I can’t go because I have to arrange a schedule.’ Likewise Rizky Billar, he has to shoot an advertisement on the 12th,” said Gus Miftah.
“What’s more, the issue of visas has not been completed yet. That’s why at that time, if I was like this, hajj was a call. God did not call people who were able, but God called those who were called,” he said.
For Deddy Corbuzier himself, Gus Miftah understands his idealistic attitude. Deddy Corbuzier does not want his worship to be sponsored or paid for by others.
“Mas Deddy is our friend who is very idealistic. We were given two invitations, one of which was Haji Furoda from one of the top travel agencies. He said, ‘Bro, why do we have to bother people for worship, we get paid in various ways.’ If you can pay for it yourself,” he said.
“Religiously, we always guide him. If this year we can’t do Hajj together, please find time for us to go on Umrah together. We know he is a perfectionist, don’t let his worship be halved,” explained Gus Miftah.
Meanwhile, Raffi Ahmad felt that he could not force himself to go for Hajj this year. Raffi actually invited Gus Miftah to go for Hajj next year if there were no obstacles.
“So if Raffi, ‘Bro, we’ll go next year. I’ll pay for it with my wife.’ This year it cannot be forced. However, returning to Hajj cannot be forced because after all this is the call of Allah SWT, “he said.
“It’s possible that Raffi didn’t go, Rizky Billar also still in doubt. Qadarullah everyone has their own busyness. I spoke to the Ambassador in that condition. We apologize,” said Gus Miftah.
