On April 17, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed or critically damaged 4 S-400 air defense systems, 3 radar stations, an air defense control center and “Fundament-M” during an attack on a military airfield in Dzhankoya in temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported by the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Thursday, UNN reports.
On April 17, 2024, as a result of a successful operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the military airfield of the city of Jankoy in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the following were destroyed or critically damaged:
- 4 S-400 SAM launchers;
- 3 radar stations;
- air defense control point;
- “Fundament-M” airspace surveillance equipment.
As noted in the GUR, the number of damaged or destroyed enemy aviation facilities and the number of casualties among the personnel of the Russian occupation army are being specified.
