The result of the Taipei City Legislative Committee by-election for the Third Constituency (Zhongshan, Beisongshan) ended on August 8. KMT candidate Wang Hongwei was successfully elected with 60,519 votes, while DPP candidate Wu Yinong narrowly lost with 54,739 votes.
