She originally planned to borrow a ladder from the management office of a nearby housing estate to rescue the bird, but she was worried that Huo Huo would be injured when her foot rope got entangled with tree branches when she was frightened and struggling, so she contacted Guo Xiuyun for help.
Ms. Chen said that after Guo Xiuyun learned about it, she drove to the scene from Hong Kong Island and contacted two friends to observe the situation.
