A chase between the ring road, Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-Saint-Denis, left one injured, a policeman, this Wednesday afternoon. According to a police source, motorcyclists from the Motorized Violent Actions Repression Brigade (Brav-M), who were traveling around 3 p.m. on the circular boulevard near the Saint-Ouen gate, asked the driver of a scooter to follow for a check.
The pilot of this TMAX, who had a passenger in the back, would then have refused to comply and fled, heading first towards Clichy-la-Garenne (Hauts-de-Seine), then Stains (Seine -St Denis). Police motorcyclists chased after them. According to this same police source, the driver of the scooter would have “tried to bring down the police, by hitting them voluntarily at the level of their handlebars”.
A policeman transported to Beaujon hospital
Under conditions that remain to be clarified, an official was then the victim of a spectacular accident, near Clichy-la-Garenne, during a collision with a vehicle that had nothing to do with the chase. Injured, the policeman was taken care of by the emergency services and taken to the Beaujon hospital center, in Clichy. His condition is unknown at this time.
The other bikers pursued the scooter to Stains, where this time the fugitive lost control of his vehicle in the Clos Saint-Lazare district. The pilot then managed to run to a parked vehicle, with the engine running, and fled on board, failing, still according to the testimony of the police, to knock over a motorcyclist.
At the time, another official fired four times in the direction of the driver, without preventing his escape. He would not have been hit by these shots either.
The scooter passenger was arrested on the spot. The investigation was entrusted to the territorial security of 93.
