All the concerts the band has played in Europe so far have offered more than twenty-five songs in their program. The organizing agency Live Nation issued a statement over the weekend that the Prague set should last three and a half hours. Guns N ‘Roses are scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. and end fifteen minutes after the 22nd.

In addition to the old songs, strong, taken over and not so significant, three interesting facts were heard at the mentioned Portuguese performance. For the first time since 1993, Guns N ‘Roses played Reckless Life, a debut mini-album from 1986 called Live?! * @ Like a Suicide. It contains four songs that were later included on the album G N ‘R Lies (1988).

For the first time ever, they performed a cover version of the Australian AC / DC Walk All Over You song on stage. One of the reasons was certainly the legendary merger of Guns N ‘Roses singer William Axl Rose with AC / DC, which took place in 2016 when he replaced Brian Johnson. He was not allowed to sing by doctors because he was in danger of losing his voice due to illness. Thanks to Axl, the AC / DC were able to complete the tour.

The biggest surprise came in Portugal during the addition. Guns N ‘Roses played the song You’re Crazy from Appetite for Destruction for the first time since 1991. The acoustic performance of the song, which is on the album Lies, has long been part of their set, but the band has not played a faster and noisier form for more than thirty years.

Guns N ‘Roses was formed in 1985 and gained their greatest fame after the release of their debut Appetite For Destruction (1987) with the hits Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O’Mine and Paradise City. The success of the first album was followed by the recording of G N’R Lies (1988) and then in 1991 by the studios Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, which were released in one day.

The American rock band Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown will open Saturday’s program in Letňany at 4:15 p.m. An hour later, Texasan Gary Clark Jr. will perform. Concert tickets are still available.
