We meet a lot of fellow human beings, especially on buses and trains or when shopping. Here, FFP2 masks can help reduce the risk of infection. Since the number of FFP2 masks is limited, we want those citizens of the
Support communities who are at increased risk of developing severe disease.
Please note that we can only issue 2 masks per person due to our limited supplies. This applies to citizens from the age of 60 as well as citizens who, according to the Robert Koch Institute, belong to the risk group for a severe course of the disease due to previous illnesses.
This includes people with previous illnesses:
• the cardiovascular system (e.g. coronary heart disease and high blood pressure)
• chronic lung diseases (e.g. COPD)
• chronic liver disease
• Patients with diabetes mellitus (diabetes) • Patients with cancer
• Patients with a weakened immune system (e.g. due to a disease that is associated with an immune deficiency or the regular use of medication that can influence and reduce the immune system, such as cortisone)
You can only pick up the masks at the Gundelfingen town hall during the opening hours of the citizens’ office
Mo.-Fr. 7.30 am to 12.30 pm, Mon. 2 pm-5pm, Wed. 14 o’clock-18 o’clock.

Important information about the corona vaccinations
How can I register for vaccination?
You can’t just come to the vaccination centers. You must have arranged a vaccination appointment beforehand.
If you want to receive the vaccination, you have to register. There are the following options for this:
– By telephone on 116 117. Immediately after the first announcement, please dial the “1” key.
– You can make an appointment for a vaccination on the Internet at www.impfterminservice.de. If you do not have your own e-mail address and mobile phone number, the appointment can also be made for you by someone else you know from your family and friends on the website.
Since the vaccine is currently extremely scarce, you have to expect considerable delays in making appointments. Only when gradually more vaccine becomes available will the situation relax. Long waiting times in the telephone hotline are therefore likely. The telephone hotline was often overloaded in the past few days.
What documents do I have to bring with me to the vaccination?
– Vaccination certificate
– Identification document (e.g. identity card)
– Electronic health card (health insurance card)
– Your appointment code that you received when you made the appointment
– Only if available: current medication plan
Where are the vaccination centers located?
Those who come from Gundelfingen or Heuweiler do not necessarily have to go to Müllheim (Eisenbahnstraße 14, 79379 Müllheim) to the district vaccination center set up for our district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald. You can also register at the central vaccination center in Freiburg at the new measuring station (Messe Freiburg, Neuer Messplatz 1,
79098 Freiburg) get vaccinated. The district vaccination centers start operating on January 22nd.
Appointments should be possible since January 19th. The vaccination center at the new trade fair in Freiburg has been in operation since the end of December.
Why is it not vaccinated in every local community?
The logistics of vaccine distribution and storage are currently very complex. At the same time, the vaccine is still very rare. Against this background, vaccinations are carried out in a few places in the country. Should the vaccine in large numbers by mid-year
are available and the storage of the new vaccines is less demanding, then family doctors will probably also be able to carry out corona vaccinations in the future. However, this is not yet certain and will take quite a while.
