BANDAI NAMCO Online announced on its official website today (20th) that the free battle shooting game “Gundam EVOLUTION” (GUNDAM EVOLUTION) will end its operation on November 30th.
“Gundam EVOLUTION” was officially launched on September 22, 2022. The content of the game design obviously refers to “Overwatch”.
Producer Maruyama said in the announcement: “Under the idea of connecting “FPS fans” and “Gundam fans”, we have launched this work with all our strength and hope to become an orthodox Gundam FPS and spread it to the world. However, Due to various factors, we decided that it would be difficult to continue to provide satisfactory services to players in the future, and made this decision. Here, I would like to express my deepest thanks to the players who have played “GUNDAM EVOLUTION” and supported us so far.”
The season update of the game will follow the original plan. It is scheduled to be updated to the sixth season on August 24th (1 unit & 2 maps will be added), and will be updated to the final season on October 26th (1 unit & 1 map will be added ), the “GUNDAM EVOLUTION Mission Briefing Final” video on July 22 will introduce the details of these contents.
