Gulliver and Arkia are refunding some customers

The Gulliver tourism group announces a collaboration with Arkie under the title “25Boom”. As part of it, customers who purchase Arkia products through Gulliver (including flights, cruises, organized trips and vacation packages) marked with the inscription “25Boom” will be able to get back the payment they paid.

After making a purchase of Arkia products, which will all be marked with “25Boom” on the Gulliver website or app, the purchase will be recorded in chronological order in a designated list. The 25th, 50th, 75th, 100th and so on buyers on the list will receive a refund for the full amount of the transaction.

The promotion will take place between the months of May and August for vacations that will take place until the beginning of October. Any person over the age of 18 will be entitled to receive a refund if they comply with the terms of the regulations, and provided that their order has been confirmed and completed.

Giora Mandel, CEO of Gulliver: “Tourism is fun, and the most fun is getting free. The collaboration between Arkie and Gulliver will cause hundreds of surprised passengers to fly for free. We are excited to start the operation.”

In the background of the promotion, it should be noted that in the cruise industry it is customary for the cruise lines to give the 16th room free of charge in every booking. This is through reimbursement to the travel agents. The travel offices also sell the 16th room they received for free, and keep the refund for themselves. Gulliver is now extending this practice to the aviation sector through the company Arkia. The great innovation of the 25Boom operation is that the refund will go to the final consumer, and not to the Gulliver travel company.
