Some time ago, Gulf and Williams Racing announced a vote for fans to choose one of the four original car liveries for the three Grands Prix – Singapore, Japan and Qatar, and now they have summed up the results.
In three rounds, 180,000 votes were accepted, with the Bolder Bold design winning with 51.9% of the votes. It will first be presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 13 to 16, and then it will be used at three Grand Prix.
James Vowles, team leader: “This competition provided our fans with the opportunity to take an active part in shaping the visual image of the team. The winning design captures the essence of the Gulf-Williams Racing partnership, reflecting the past while looking forward to the future.”
