The famous guitar with which Elvis Presley made his comeback on stage with a TV special in 1968 is going under the hammer. That reports TMZ Sunday.
After devoting himself to acting and studio music for seven years, Presley decided to give another live concert in 1968. He performed in the program with the red Hagstrom Viking II guitar Elvis. This was followed by a long series of concerts in Las Vegas and some very profitable tours.
Auction house Kruse GWS Auctions expects the instrument to yield between 750,000 and 1 million dollars (629,000 to 838,000 euros). The person who makes the highest bid will receive a sheet of sheet music from the TV special. The bidding war will start on March 27.
