Anaheim – Jeff Reitz (50) is in love: with the Disneyland resort in California! And that’s exactly why he visited the amusement park for 2995 days in a row. The 50-year-old has now secured a Guinness World Record.
For eight years, Jeff Reitz was out and about in the 34-hectare leisure complex every day. It started as a joke with friends. Since they were unemployed at the time, they were given annual tickets. “So that was the source of free entertainment,” Jeff Reitz says in one Notice from Guinness World Records quoted.
What started out as a joke eventually made him a Disneyland celebrity. Local media and news agencies took up his daily visits, which the 50-year-old also diligently shared on his Instagram channel.
The classic motifs could not be missing: Disney characters parading through the streets, impressive pictures of Disney Castle and of course selfies with the park employee.

“I love taking photos, so I’ve always been on the lookout for pictures to take and post,” says Jeff Reitz. He also tried out attractions – sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on his mood. “The ‘Matterhorn Bobsleds’ (roller coaster) is my favorite to this day.”
Jeff hopes that he can eventually break the 3000 visit mark. The corona pandemic and the associated park closures ended its year-long run.
“I don’t know when I’ll be back,” says the Disney fan. “But I would really enjoy coming back with the world record certificate to take photos where I deserved them – Disneyland.”
