Guilty Gear Strivethe acclaimed 2D fighting game from Arc System Works (Dragon Ball FighterZ, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax), coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One on 7 of March of 2023, according to the Microsoft Store (va Wccftech). That same day it will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscription services, as indicated in the Xbox Windows application.
Microsoft and Arc System Works announced the addition of this game to the Game Pass catalog and its premiere on Xbox platforms at the Xbox presentation of the Tokyo Game Show 2022. At that same event they revealed that BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battleanother lauded 2D fighting game from the Japanese studio, will also launch on the same consoles and services sometime in spring 2023.
When Guilty Gear Strive Arrives next week on Xbox consoles will have cross play with the rest of the platforms on which it is available: PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. When we publish the analysis in the original premiere, in june 2021, we said it’s a game “a must for 2D fighting fans”. And since then it has only gotten better and bigger with updates and DLC.
With the Arc System Works game we already know two Game Pass news for the first half of March. The other is the Xbox Series X/S version of Valheim, the co-op survival adventure set in Norse mythology, will be available on March 14.
