Guillermo, Beatriz Salomón’s brother, has died. The sad news was confirmed by LAM’s host, Ángel de Brito
Guillermo, Beatriz Salomón’s brother who claimed to be the son of the deceased vedette, was found dead yesterday in his home, reported Ángel de Brito in LAM (América).
“We have just received very sad information that has once again hit the family of Beatriz Salomón. You remember that some time ago one of Beatriz’s brothers appeared on various programmes to say that he was her son. And that he was trying to get his DNA tested and try to find out his identity,” the host began. He added: “The Salomón siblings were Beatriz, Isabel and their two brothers, who were less well-known. Beatriz was very famous until the last moment and Isabel also died very young, unfortunately, from a terrible illness.”
“But now we have just found out that Beatriz’s brother has also passed away. He has passed away, yes, they found him dead today at home, he had not answered the phone for three days,” De Brito said. And he continued: “A while ago I asked Ana Rosenfeld what had happened with this, because she is the lawyer for Beatriz’s daughters, and she told me that he was trying to find out his identity, or at least to find out if he was Beatriz’s son or not. But a few hours ago they found Guillermo Salomón dead at his home. They had to break down the door, because as he had not answered for two or three days, they entered the apartment.”
“I was talking to a music producer who works with the Salomon brothers and he told me that, apparently, his brother Daniel found him with the police. He was lying next to his bed, they didn’t find anything suspicious, no traces of violence. Obviously he had a breakdown. He was young,” concluded Ángel.

In the program “Busybodies“Guillermo Salomón recounted how he knew he was not Beatriz’s brother.
“They had barely gotten married; there were Leonor, Jacinto, my theoretical parents, Isabel, her husband Oscar, Daniel with his girlfriend, Alberto, Beatriz and me. We were together at a family meeting and he (Ferriols) stands up and says ‘I have something to say, I found out from a reliable source that Guillermo is not Beatriz’s brother, that he is Beatriz’s son’,” she said.
“In front of everyone. Nobody said anything, everyone said ‘hahaha, Oh Alberto! Where did he get that from?’ and it was left there. Nobody said ‘but nothing to do with it, where did he get that from, it’s a lie, you’re telling a lie, he’s not Beatriz’s son’. Never. Everything was taken like that, very lightly,” Guillermo said.
“I was shocked because the truth is that I had been hearing this for almost my entire life, that everyone had been telling me that. I didn’t confront Beatriz. She was also a bit like my theoretical mother, stepmother, I don’t know how to say it anymore, she didn’t want to talk about the subject, she always denied it, she said ‘it was all lies’. She left everything there,” the man clarified about Beatriz’s attitude every time the subject was brought up.
