The game of musical chairs continues at a frantic pace in the microcosm of regional football in Calvados! Barely six months after signing at Bretteville-sur-Odon (R2), replacing Christophe Fortin, Guillaume Marie is preparing to change clubs.
The former physical trainer of FC Nantes, with a long experience in the professional world, should take the reins of AS Ifs, again in Regional 2. If this is confirmed, Guillaume Marie will replace Kévin Leroux, who was dismissed from its functions.
Bretteville almost saved
Guillaume Marie had joined Bretteville-sur-Odon with the aim of keeping the club outside the red zone, as his predecessor had succeeded. The Brettevillais are on the way to achieving this, in particular thanks to their recent victory over the reserve of ASPTT Caen (2-3).
BSO is eighth in the standings and can no longer be joined by the first relegation player, Bourguébus. On the other hand, the ninth Mézidon is only one length away. However, the worst ninth of the four hens of R2 will go down to Regional 3.
Bretteville will play its last match of the season on Sunday June 4, 2023 (3:00 p.m.) at home in front of Lisieux, third.
