After having achieved the feat of becoming the first Quebec dancer invited to dance with the Bolshoi Ballet in Russia, Guillaume Côté will take the stage on February 14 and 16 with the New York City Ballet (NYCB), the most important dance troupe classic in North America.

There he will interpret the role of Prince Siegfried in the Swan Lake, alongside Sara Mearns, principal dancer of the New York company, in the role of Odette / Odile. Mr. Côté replaces injured NYCB lead dancer Tyler Angle.

Principal dancer and associate choreographer of the National Ballet of Canada and artistic director of the Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur (FASS), Guillaume Côté adds a prestigious company to his list, he who has danced as guest artist for the Royal Ballet, the American Ballet Theater and the Stuttgart Ballet, among others.

In the spring, the Quebec public will be able to see his very first creation, Crypto – premiered at FASS last summer – in several cities across Quebec, including Montreal, from 1is to April 4, as part of the Danse Danse program.
