Comedian Guido Weijers will be hosting the New Year’s Eve conference for RTL for the fourth time, he announced on Wednesday via Instagram.
In the video that Weijers shared, he can be seen together with RTL director Peter van der Vorst. Van der Vorst says in the video that the year 2020 should end in a cheerful way despite the corona virus.
“Precisely because we have been through all this misery together. We have found someone willing to do this for us: Guido Weijers”, says the Content Director.
According to Van der Vorst, people should not laugh too loudly in connection with the corona measures. The 43-year-old comedian says he does not take this into account when coming up with his jokes: “People just have to happily end the year. I am more excited than ever.”
Weijers last made a New Year’s Eve conference for RTL in 2018. Last year, Martijn Koning took care of the show.
