Guidetti’s kids were bullied – had to pick them up from school: “It’s hard when they’re exposed because of me” – Fotbollskanalen

On Friday, John Guidetti posted on his Instagram where he said, dressed in AIK, he was on his way to pick up his children from school because they had been teased.

“I got a call from the school saying that my children had been bullied because their father plays in AIK. So now I’m on my way to pick them up from school. So yeah, come on!”, he is heard saying in the clip before pulling an AIK verse.

Two days later, Guidetti jumped into the derby against Hammarby and became a big hero by scoring the only goal of the game.

After the game, he tells more about what happened to the children.

– It is something that is in every school. Then again, I am always the subject of people’s lips and it is people’s opinions and opinions and it will be more sensitive when it affects my children who love their father. When you say certain things between two people who are arguing, it’s difficult, but when you throw your father into the mix too… if people are on different teams and are joking and arguing, it makes a difference when one person you are talking about is someone’s father, then he becomes aware, he says and continues:

– Then it is clear that I always find it difficult that my children have to be exposed to things because of me. That’s not how I want them to be. We’ve tried really hard to hide who my kids are, but then it’s hard to hide them when I pick them up from school. But it’s just sad that the children have to be exposed.

Guidetti believes that the school is handling this well and explains why he sent the post.

– I made the post with a twinkle in my eye, but it is important to convey the message that you should try to be nice to each other. It is part of my responsibility to try to contribute to making the world a better place. I have made mistakes myself and there are conflicts. How boring would it be if these derbies didn’t exist? I understand that the other teams are there, even that my heart beats for AIK.
