In times of Distance, home office and mobile working it is all the more important that the employees in the team and in the company are connected to one another. The easiest way to do this at the moment is with virtual team meetings. It is best to hold these regularly and to agree on fixed rules.
It is crucial that the team can develop common values and goals and thus a common corporate culture. This can only succeed if everyone is committed to the common path. There are always phases in life where every single person also needs to understand that they may not be there with full interest. However, this can only be the exception and under special circumstances it can be taken into account from completely normal human points of view. However, this is not a permanent explanation of why the rules worked out between the parties are not being followed.
Anyone who wants to go in the same direction together must also agree on how the goal will be achieved together.
