Carbink, the Rock and Fairy-type Pokémon from the Kalos region, has made its appearance in the current generation of Pokémon games with the release of the new Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC. However, finding this elusive creature can be quite a challenge. Here’s a guide on how and where to find Carbink in The Teal Mask DLC.
Carbink can only be found in a specific location on Kitakami Island, known as Oni Mountain. To begin your quest, head towards the center of the map and climb to the top of the mountain, where you will find a place called the Crystal Pool. Within this area, you’ll notice a small cave that can be easily missed. Enter the cave cautiously, as there is a cliff immediately after the entrance.
Once inside the cave, use the flight ability of either Pokémon, Koraidon or Moraidon, by pressing the “B” button while in the air. Float down through the cavern and keep an eye on the ledges on the wall. One of these ledges will take you to a tunnel where Carbink appears most frequently. It is recommended to search inside this tunnel to increase your chances of finding Carbink. However, if you explore deeper into the cave, you may also encounter Feebas and Clefairy.
When you finally locate Carbink, catching him is pretty simple. We recommend weakening it in a battle and then throwing a Poké Ball. If you are an experienced trainer, you may also consider applying a Status Effect such as Paralysis or Sleep, or using an Ultraball to increase your chances of successfully capturing Carbink.
Finding Carbink in the Teal Mask DLC can be an exciting adventure. Be sure to thoroughly explore Oni Mountain and the Crystal Pool cave to encounter this elusive Pokémon and add it to your team.
