This gripping story centers on Claudia (played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw), a driven young lawyer who travels to Jamaica to investigate a contentious inheritance claim. As Claudia delves deeper, she uncovers a web of secrets connected to the Connaught family’s Jamaican plantation, Hope Hill, – a place that haunts her nightmares.
Claudia faces off against Oliver Connaught (Jonny Lee Miller), a wealthy white aristocrat, who is contesting the claim filed by Cudjoe East (Sheldon Shepherd), a local resident whose connection to the estate is shrouded in mystery.
But "Inheritance" is more than a courtroom drama.
