food/bark. On Sunday at 4:00 p.m., VC Allbau Essen welcomes the Skurios Volleys Borken in the “Am Hallo” sports hall.
It is the penultimate home game for the Essen volleyball team in the 2nd Volleyball Bundesliga North. The reigning champion from Borken is a guest. The coming weeks will show whether the Westmünsterlanders can defend their title. The Stralsund Wildcats want to have a say in the title race.
Just like for VC Allbau Essen, both teams will continue next season in the new 2nd Volleyball Bundesliga Pro due to the league reform of the Volleyball Bundesliga.
Can the Essen volleyball players trip the reigning and designated champions on Sunday? on a good day? Why not? With appropriate support from the stands, coach Marcel Werzinger’s team will certainly find it easier. The spectator entrance opens at 3:15 p.m.
Clubs, teams, schools, classes, courses and other groups from the Ruhr area who would like to experience top-level volleyball up close are welcome to contact [email protected]. VC Essen-Borbeck is happy to invite them to the Bundesliga team’s home game.
The match will be directed by the 1st referee Dr. Thomas Asche from Münster and the 2nd referee Stefan Preyß from Bottrop. Anyone who cannot follow the duel live on site has the opportunity to do so in the SPORT1extra live stream.
