PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) established three new companies. But until now the company does not have a single employee. Then what do you do?
Gudang Garam Corporate Secretary Heru Budiman explained that the company has established three companies in the form of PT. It turned out that the establishment of the company was carried out to explore the e-cigarette business.
“We have provided three companies, the companies are made with a deed,” he said at the 2021 Public Expose Live event, Thursday (9/9/2021).
The three companies that were founded have their respective functions that are interrelated. The first company serves to import raw materials, the second company to produce e-cigarettes, and the third company to distribute them.
“All of that, of course, must have a permit,” he added.
However, Heru emphasized that the three companies had not yet operated and had no employees, so GGRM did not incur any costs for the three companies.
“Until today, the three companies have not carried out any activities in the field of e-cigarettes, and there are also no employees, so there is no cost, except for the PT fee,” he concluded.
