Guatemala receives 700,000 doses of the Russian vaccine against covid-19 | Society | America Edition

Guatemala received another 700,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine on Friday to prevent and combat covid-19, sent by Russia as part of the purchase of 16 million doses reserved last April.

The Central American nation adds 4.7 million doses of the Russian vaccine to date, after the arrival of the new batch today at La Aurora airport in the south of Guatemala City, the local Ministry of Health said.
