Guardsmen went naked into an ice lake to save a dog

In Spain, members of the Civil Guard (police paramilitary unit) managed to save a dog trapped in an ice trap. They undressed, entered the ice lake and took out the animal, the guard’s Facebook page said.

The incident took place in the city of Badaguas. A man was playing with his pet, throwing a stick at him to return it.

Due to the unusual cold at this time of year, the ponds looked frozen, but the ice on which the dog found itself could not withstand its weight and cracked. The pet sank in the icy water and could not come out alone, glas.bg writes.

Its owner called rescuers, who had to take off all their clothes, enter the water almost naked and help the animal out. Man’s best friend was saved and warmed.
