Pep Guardiola does not change his mind. The Manchester City coach insists again on his idea that winning the Premier League has more merit than the Champions League because it is more difficult.
“The Premier League is more difficult than the Champions League. There are many weeks, many games, many injuries, good and bad times, different situations. Success is having been there in recent years. Fighting for the Premier gives meaning to the day-to-day in the locker room, ”said Guardiola.
The Spanish coach went on to explain that it is more difficult to maintain the level for more games. “I’m not saying that the Champions League isn’t important. We would have loved to be in Paris next week, but winning 38 games is different from winning 6 or 7, although it’s always nice.”
Finally, Guardiola referred to how they take the last game. “We play to win, but there are aspects that you cannot control. We have to play like in the last month. It’s just a game, we’re not going to do anything new”.
