Premier League 2022/2023 is still long but Pep Guardiola say Manchester City cannot win after being defeated Manchester United. Did Pep really give up?

“I don’t care about the Premier League and the Carabao Cup. We can’t win. We’ve won those competitions many times anyway,” the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss quipped.
“The problem is that we performed as we have before. We are always focused on that. So the Carabao Cup, we were eliminated. It doesn’t matter. However, we did not perform as usual, and today we performed well,” added Guardiola.
