If there is one thing that has preoccupied Jürgen Klopp since he joined English football in October 2015, it is the schedule and all the matches the players have to go through.
The German has felt that he has to repeat himself again and again, without being heard. The Liverpool manager believes that all football associations, national and international, just want more matches, without anyone being willing to sacrifice anything. Pep Guardiola believes that another strike is needed for this case to change.

No breakthrough at the Premier League meeting
On Thursday, there was a Premier League meeting for the managers, and Jürgen Klopp had been particularly critical of the fact that his team was scheduled to play matches on 26 and 28 December. The match against Leeds has now been canceled on December 26
According to The Telegraph, there was no breakthrough for the cancellation at that meeting, and only a few of the managers thought that the matches should be postponed.
