Bola.net – Josep Guardiola admits he is impressed with Inter Milan’s game and admits they have the potential to beat Manchester City in the final Liga Champions 2022/2023 later
Inter Milan won the Champions League final this season after beating AC Milan in the semifinals. Over the two legs, they won 3-0 on aggregate.
In the first leg at the San Siro, Inter won 2-0. In the second leg at the Giuseppe Meazza, Milan they beat with a score of 1-0.
This will be Inter’s first final since the 2009/10 season. In that season they went on to become champions under the tutelage of Josep Mourinho.

Guardiola Begins to Study Inter
The 2022/2023 Champions League Final will be held on June 11, 2023. Ahead of the match, Josep Guardiola has started guerrilla warfare.
He has started spying on Inter Milan. And after checking their game, Guardiola praised Nicolo Barella et al.
“I started watching a few minutes [permainan] Inter, several situations and I was impressed,” Guardiola told reporters Journal.
“What they do and their body language is impressive. After watching it, I called some of my friends in Italy to ask their opinion,” he explained.
“They all told me to be alert because they were serious about it. I already knew, I understood by watching a few minutes and those situations,” he said.

Inter Can Beat City
On paper, Manchester City is superior to Inter Milan. However, Josep Guardiola issued a warning to City.
He said City clearly could not underestimate Inter. Guardiola also said that there was a chance that Inter could beat his foster children with the quality they have.
“Of course Inter can beat us, they’ve won this trophy three times and we’ve never done it, but we want to play better so it doesn’t happen again,” said Guardiola.

Serie A mentality

Inter Milan is not the only Italian team to achieve great achievements in Europe. There is AS Roma who penetrated the Europa League final and Fiorentina who entered the top of the Conference League party.
“It is no coincidence that there are three clubs [Italia] in the European Final and the other to reach the semi-finals,” said Guardiola.
“I played in Italy, I know the mentality. Don’t forget that Serie A was the best league in the world 20 years ago, all players and coaches wanted to be there. Also, Italy won the World Cup four times. They still have this mentality, this is why the final against an Italian club is complicated.”
