A board of trustees, consisting of a guardian, a deputy and two councilors, will take care of the twins from Karnobat, whose mother died of coronavirus, and before them their father lost his life due to the insidious disease.
This became clear from the words of Pavlina Spiridonova, director of “Child Protection” in Karnobat, in front of Nova TV. Today, the institution will talk to the paternal grandmother of the babies and will help her with the preparation of the documents.
Yesterday, family members called for no help to be collected for children on social networks, as well as for them to be left to experience their grief.
Both paternal and maternal families have expressed a willingness to care for the babies and their 4-year-old sister. It is the closest relatives who will join the board of trustees. At a later stage, relatives may adopt the children.
The mayor of Karnobat municipality also expressed readiness to help the family.
