Guano Apes: 30th Anniversary Concert in Göttingen – Get Your Tickets Now!

The team was founded in 1994 in Göttingen.

“Guano Apes” is approaching the 30th anniversary of its creative career with an impressive and high-quality discography, a set of devastating hits, a recognizable sound and a constant vocalist in the foreground – Sandra Nasič.

Guano Apes became famous with such hits as “Open Your Eyes”, “Lords Of The Boards”, “You Can’t Stop Me”, as well as a cover version of “Big In Japan”.

The team was on the verge of collapse several times, but returned to active concert activity, each time supplementing it with a new album.

Guano Apes haven’t released any releases lately, but they’re back with renewed vigor after the pandemic. Their latest boats are an incredible musical shock and a truly wild energy that reaches every audience member. From the first bars of the song “You Can’t Stop Me” to the familiar classics “Open Your Eyes” and “Lords of the Boards” at the end.

“Guano Apes” emphasizes that they are in opposition to the digital world. They continue to promote their signature sound created without the use of artificial intelligence. “We are closer to monkeys than to artificial intelligence. And humans, monkeys of the old world, have a primitive power: the desire for freedom. We have preserved this with our audience for almost three decades,” the musicians say.

This is not the first time that “Guano Apes” visits Latvia. In 2011, they already performed in Liepāja, as part of the “Summer Sound” festival, and in 2016 – in Riga’s “Kubana”. This time they are coming back with a big solo concert, where, of course, the most famous compositions of “Guano Apes” will be played.

The concert will start at 20, the entrance doors will be opened at 19.

Tickets can be purchased from December 8 at 11 on Ticketshop.lv.
