Guanajuato successfully closes its participation in Tianguis Turístico Digital 2021 – Boletines Dependencias


SECTUR shows the tourist offer of the state of Guanajuato to the national and international market.
• The tourist product “With the Heart in the Skin”, which shows the essence and vocation of the destination: the skin, is recognized in TTD.

The Guanajuato Secretariat of Tourism successfully closed its participation in the Digital Tourism Tianguis (TTD) 2021, attending 101 business appointments offering the tourist wealth and the Romance segment of the state.
Derived from the health contingency due to the COVID19 pandemic, the Federal Tourism Secretariat created the Tianguis Turístico Digital as a complementary event to the Tianguis Turístico 45 edition that postponed its realization until September 2021 and in this way to bring together exhibitors in a way secure through a digital platform.
Through the Public Relations Directorate, the Marketing Directorate and the Coordination of Attention to Specialized Segments, SECTUR held meetings with Price Travel, Mexico-Colombia; Creative Travel, Mexico; Association For Wedding Planners International, Sacramento CA; Hiptraveler, United States; Pangea The Travel Store, Madrid; I love Mexico; ByHours, Mexico; DMC Market Tourism Marketing Solutions SL, Barcelona; Asia Pacific Connections, Tokyo; among others.
Of the 101 appointments that SECTUR held, 47 were attended through networking, booth and virtual stand and focused on showing Guanajuato’s tourist wealth and actions against the pandemic, in order to assess the option of bringing events to the state.
In addition, Guanajuato exchanged contacts of the entity’s tourism sector, and vice versa, with said Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Tourist Associations, Event Organizers and national and international Marketing companies.
The other 54 meetings were attended in the Romance Pavilion by SECTUR and Kara Macias, Wedding Planner; Pedro Villegas, Tour Operator; Gardenia Meza, Wedding Planner; and Salvador de Anda, Director of Meetings Tourism of the San Miguel de Allende Tourist Board; as well as the Association of Weddings, Events and Venues (ABER) of Guanajuato.
All of them promoted the 5 new products that they developed in the entity in 2020: “With the heart in the skin”, “Fall in love in Tarandacuao”, “Olé Salvatierra” and “Magia de Pozos”, and “Engayment”, respectively.
Likewise, during the TTD Academic Program, a presentation was made of Innovation in Romance Tourism Products and highlighted “With the Heart in the Skin”, a product from the municipality of León that shows the essence and vocation of the destination: the skin.
Guanajuato continues to work on the reactivation of tourism in conjunction with the industry, offering quality, professionalization and good service in the products offered in tourist destinations.
