Legendary musician Gu Jiahui (Hui Ge) passed away yesterday (January 3) in Canada at the age of 92.
Wang Mingquan (sister) sang many songs composed by Gu Jiahui. When she was interviewed by the radio station, she said she suddenly felt sorry for Fai’s death. Sister praised Fai for her great contribution to the music scene, popularizing Cantonese songs in the 1980s, elevating the status of Cantonese songs and her creativity.
