Kraaijkamp came together with Cas Jansen and at the beginning of 2020 Tamara Brinkman (photo, right) as the Verduyn family in an attempt to give the soap a new impulse. In his role as grandfather Henk, Johnny turned out to be a tastemaker.
More money
After more than 2.5 years, it appears that the Verduyntjes have actually provided a breath of fresh air. RTL is satisfied with GTST and that means that not only the series but also the cast can continue for a while. But that’s where the shoe pinches as far as Johnny is concerned. In conversation with Story let him know that he would like to continue for a year, but then a little more money has to be added.
Negotiations
Kraaijkamp does not make it more beautiful than it is: “At the moment we are in the middle of negotiations for another year contract. I hope to be able to stay longer in GTST, but that has to do with money. The bottom line is that actors always have more want money than RTL 4 is willing to pay.”
Corona
Unlike most other newcomers, Kraaijkamp immediately an annual contract and permission to adjust the scripts yourself.
