It may not be GTA VI, but this news will please most GTA fans. THE store page for the remastered trilogy – which features updated versions of GTA 3, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas – features two different dates depending on which version of the title you’re purchasing.
The PC, Nintendo Switch and PS5 versions, which are available digitally, will be released on November 11, 2021. If you are purchasing the PS4 or Xbox One physical-only editions, your game will ship on December 6, just under one month later.
Rockstar has not yet publicly confirmed these dates, and an announcement is expected later today in line with GTA 3’s 20th anniversary.
That said, these dates seem very unlikely to change – it’s not just Rockstar’s own showcase, there’s even a countdown confirming that the games will be released on November 11th.
Some system requirements
System requirements for games have also been confirmed for the PC version of the game. Unsurprisingly, you won’t need a lot of hardware to play the 20-year-old trilogy, but Rockstar points out that you’ll want 45GB of surprisingly large disk space to install all three titles.
It’s likely to be the result of extensive visual updates and GTA 5-style controls, which are said to have been included in the remaster. But as Rockstar does not usually disappoint its fans, for sure a lot of people will be thrilled to play these games with high definition graphics.
