Grand Theft Auto (GTA) VI is confirmed to be the newest series from United Grand Theft Auto Games from publisher Rockstar Games which will be released in 2025.
The GTA 6 trailer was scheduled to be published to coincide with Rockstar Games’ 25th anniversary, but the schedule was accelerated 15 hours earlier because the trailer was distributed ahead of schedule.
The trailer video was initially leaked from the @Gta6trailerleak account on Twitter X. After that, Rockstar Games, a subsidiary of Take-Two, published the trailer on YouTube. And X suspended the account that uploaded the leaked video.
In the trailer, GTA VI will take place in Miami, inspired by Vice City, where a love and crime story occurs between the character Lucia and the male main character who is not given a name.
GTA was developed in 1997 in Dundee, Scotland by DMA Design which is now known as Rockstar, GTA has become a successful video game despite the many controversies that accompany it.
This video game became the second best-selling in history with sales of more than 190 million copies. Of course, the presence of the newest series of GTA is eagerly awaited by video game fans after a decade since the release of the last game series, namely GTA V in 2013.
This new game will be available on the Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S consoles.
In other words, users of older generation consoles, such as PS4 and Xbox One, will certainly not be able to play this video game.
Apart from that, Rockstar Games has not revealed whether this game will be able to be played on PC devices. However, referring to previous Rockstar Games releases, they will release the PC version on console devices first and for PC later.
Reflecting on GTA V, two years after it was officially released, this video game could be accessed via PC devices in 2015.
