According to the report of the Rockstar Magazine (via NeoGAF), GTA 6 it may be further away than many imagine. The French website points out that this is the “most chaotic project” of the studio’s history, with crucial elements constantly being modified.
In fact, the problems are said to have accumulated so much that development ‘was restarted last year.’
The idea was to officially announce it at the time, but the lack of concrete content prevented that from happening. Major behind-the-scenes changes, including the departure of the co-founder and vice president Dan Houser, directly impacted this situation.
It is speculated that this game will not be released until at least 2025, and even that is not concrete. The studio is trying to avoid crunch conditions that have earned it a bad reputation in recent years.
