Since the official confirmation after the massive leak of GTA 6 development data, we are still waiting for the first proper gameplay direct demo. The publisher Take-Two, which includes the Rockstar Games studio, indicates in its financial report that the next year will be really big for it. The company expects profits of $8 billion. This is to ensure several game-changing titles, and GTA 6 is logically suggested to be one of them.
Even though the fiscal year lasts until the end of March, Rockstar would certainly not miss the fall season, when the biggest titles are released. In order not to talk only about a year in the distant future, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of the company stated that in the current fiscal year, Take-Two plans to release a total of 16 games.
3 of them are big titles which include WWE 2K24 and NBA 2k24. The other pair are supposed to be mid-range games, with one of them being Lego 2K Drive, which is currently being released. There should also be 2 remasters or remakes, and three independent titles will be released under the Private Division label. The remaining 6 games are designed for mobile phones.
Take-Two has a total of 52 games in development, but GTA 6 clearly arouses the most interest. After all, the previous part was released 10 years ago, so this year it would at least need a proper demonstration. Along with the plans, Zelnick also shared updated sales numbers. GTA 5 has surpassed 180 million copies soldwhile Red Dead Redemption 2 is at 53 million.
