GTA 5 will have three graphics modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

A Rockstar released this Friday (4) more information about the versions of Grand Theft Auto V e GTA Online for the new generation of consoles. Gamers will have the option to choose between three graphics modes, with games being able to run at 4K resolution, with ray tracing, HDR and up to 60 frames per second (FPS).

Transferring progress and characters

the players of GTA 5 e GTA Online no PlayStation 4 e Xbox One will be able to transfer their progress and characters to the next generation of consoles. The migration system offered by Rockstar can only be used once for each platform.

Starting this Friday, it is now possible to save your progress in the campaign mode GTA V at Rockstar Games Social Club. Just enter the game, access the menu and select the option “Transfer game data”. You can only store one save per platform at a time, and the files will be available for download on the Rockstar server for 90 days.

Anyone who has a Rockstar Games Social Club account will be able to migrate the created character to GTA Online, but the download will only be available on March 15th. Vehicles, property, weapons, clothing, GTA$ (in-game money) and other belongings will also be transferred.

All campaign mode migration from GTA 5 and of GTA Online can be done, for example, from an Xbox One to a PS5. There is only one limitation: the GTA$ money you purchased in multiplayer can only be transferred to a console of the same brand – that is, from PS4 to PS5 and from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S.

As previously announced by Rockstar, optimized versions of the games will be released on March 15th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X e Xbox Series S. The pre-download and pre-order will be available from March 8 – the studio has not yet clarified, however, whether players who already own the games on PS4 and Xbox One will be able to obtain the new versions at no additional cost through the free upgrade.

During the first three months of release, GTA Online will be available for free to PlayStation 5 players. For the first time ever, the multiplayer mode of GTA V can be purchased separately on next-gen consoles.
