From its Twitter account, the Data Laboratory added that a similar scenario is projected to vaccinate all people of legal age at this rate, that is, one year to apply the first doses and two years to complete the immunization schedule.
They highlighted that as of July 17, 2021, Guatemala exceeded the first million vaccines applied, 5 months after the National Plan began, although the country is still far behind compared to the rest of the region.
In addition, he stressed that in general the process continues to be centralized and that the department of Guatemala is the only one to exceed 15% of its vaccinated population, followed by Quetzaltenango and Sacatepéquez with a little more than 10%.
