Statistics from the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS), which include minors and adults, refer that during October 8, 72,164 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 were administered, of which 29,573 correspond to first doses and 42,591 were to complete immunization schedules.
With these drugs applied, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose since the National Vaccination Plan began stands at 4,805,693, in addition, those who have completed its scheme amount to 2,767,951. The total of administered doses is 7,573,644.
Until now, most of these have been applied to women, which represents 53% and in men it amounts to 47%.

CENTRALIZED VACCINATION
These data also show that most of the vaccines continue to be applied in the department of Guatemala, as well as in Huehuetenango and Quetzaltenango.
The department of Guatemala accounts for the highest number of first doses applied with 1,782,724, which represents 63.7%, while in schemes it adds 1,043,496 vaccinations, that is, 37.3%.
HIGH VERAPAZ IN THE LAST PLACE
On the other hand, the department of Alta Verapaz continues to be the last place in figures and percentages of vaccinations with 185,346 first doses applied, which represent 19.4% of the planned total.
Regarding complete schemes in this department, 84,868 doses have been applied for 8.9% of an estimated population of 953,506.
