[GSC 2021] Marvel’s Midnight Sun: just nothing romanticizing with heroes!

Forget about starting a romantic relationship with Iron Man, Wolverines, Captain Marvel, and others in the tactical RPG.

In a new interview with IGN, Firaxis creative director Jake Solomon spoke at the abbey – the Marvel’s Midnight Suns community space – about interactions with your superhero peers. “The idea is that by the time you maximize your friendship with these characters, you’ll be as close to them as anyone else in the Marvel universe. But yes, it’s not romantic, ”Solomon said.

“Believe me, if I could romanticize with Blade, I would, but yes, it’s more about these being very well-defined characters. So it’s more about deep, deep friendships ” The creative director continued. While some will no doubt be disappointed that they can’t romanticize with their favorite Marvel characters, there’s still plenty of time and space between quests to get to know them better.

If you missed yesterday’s grand premiere of Firaxis ’new game on Gamescom Opening Night Live, Marvel’s Midnight Suns a fast paced tactical RPG from the developer of XCOM. Its protagonists are existing Marvel superheroes like Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Blade, Wolverine, Captain America and many others who work together in a team with their famous abilities and skills.

There’s not much to wait for the release of Marvel’s Midnight Suns anymore, as March 2022 was set as the goal. When released, it will be available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and you can watch the full gameplay unveiling of Firaxis as early as next week, September 1st.
