Grzegorz Krychowiak is looking for a new club after leaving Saudi Arabian Club. Suddenly, Girondins de Bordeaux, who are currently playing in the fourth league level, made him an offer – “L’Équipe” reports.
Not much has been going on about the 34-year-old midfielder recently. After the end of the last season, he left Club Abha, which did not stay in the Saudi premier league. Over the past few weeks, he has calmly approached the issue of finding a new employer.
As Tomasz Włodarczyk said recently, the former Polish representative hopes to receive a suitable offer from one of the Middle Eastern clubs. For some time there had been speculation about a return to his homeland, but this is not expected, at least for now.
The player born in Gryfice began his foreign career in the ranks of the “Gyrondists”. In the end, however, he only managed to play for their first team twice.
The formula of the proposed proposal is interesting. After signing a contract of several years, Krychowiak would get the opportunity to work at the club after his retirement. Importantly, he did not refuse, asking for a few days to carefully consider the matter.
A lot has changed since the 34-year-old last stayed in Bordeaux. The prestigious club was kicked out of Ligue 1 in 2022, and after spending two years there, was relegated to the third league. After the fall was announced, the team was relegated to the fourth stage of the competition.
