Grygárek wants half a million from Šlacht and an apology for his book

According to him, Grygárek will file a lawsuit for the protection of his personality due to false allegations, which the former police officer wrote about him in his book Thirty Years Under Oath. In his statement, Šlachta stated that he was worth the statements in the book.

Grygárek, a former deputy chief prosecutor in Prague, Vlastimil Rampula, faced charges of abuse of power in connection with lobbyist Roman Janoušek and his Swiss accounts. However, his prosecution was stopped by the Prague City Court. In September, the Supreme Court rejected Supreme Prosecutor Pavel Zeman’s appeal against the decision.

In the book, for example, Šlachta stated that Grygárek provided influential lobbyists, politicians and managers with information from their police files. Thanks to this, he was able to buy an expensive apartment in the center of Prague, which then connected him again with lobbyists. The former police officer also wrote that Rampul’s former deputy had deliberately concealed the criminal activity of lobbyist Janousek before the Swiss authorities.

“Not only does he publish non-public data from the criminal file in the book, but he also creates other plots, which only deepens the damage caused to the plaintiff,” Grygárek said of Šlacht in the lawsuit, according to the server.

Nobility: I will not apologize

“I may repeat myself, but I have to. I stand behind everything in the book, “said the former head of the anti-mafia unit. “And that’s not all I want to say to people like Mr. Grygárek in that book,” he added. He also said that he would not apologize to anyone.

According to the lawsuit, false statements in the book affected Grygárek’s professional and personal life. “He is consistently accused of wrongfully accused defendants of committing criminal and other illegal activities, even though all suspicions have been legally rebutted,” the server quoted from the lawsuit. According to the server, Grygárek will deliver it in the coming days.

The nobility was also examined by the police for his book. She was investigating whether he had disclosed secret information. However, she eventually postponed the case.
